SMS sent texts not syncing to MPE

I'm using MPE with 2 Galaxy S20/S21 phones with a Windows 10 Ent.
When performing a sync with either phone of the SMS messages, only the received messages are downloaded to MPE and not the sent SMS messages.
In other words, texts I send to people are not synched and downloaded to MPE but reply texts are synched and downloaded.

I cannot find any settings in the app or MPE. This is using the default Messaging app on the phone.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am now having the same problem ever since the phone (S20 Ultra) upgraded to Android 12.0 (G988USQU2EULH) on 1/13/22. Prior to that it was running Android 11 (G988USQS2DUJ7) since 11/10/21 without any issues.

Any text I send by using the phone will not update into MPE however, any text I receive does. Going the other way, any text I send using MPE will in fact update and show on the phone.

Being curious, which Android version is on your phone and how long have you had this problem?

I was having the reverse problem - not seeing replies to my texts. After I replaced the default Samsung messaging app with Messages by Google, that fixed the issue. Apparently, the Samsung messaging app was hamstringing what was syncing to MPE.
