Open file explorer on startup
Open file explorer on startup
The file explorer in MPE is by far the best file transfer implementation over Wifi on Android. Is there a way to automatically open the file explorer (maybe even at a specified folder) when the program starts? The "Start page" options in the settings don't include the file explorer, so this would be a simple enough feature request. Alternatively, can this be done with a startup parameter? Are these parameters documented somewhere (if any exist)?
Its integrated now in the current beta: https://www.fjsoft.at/files/MyPhoneExpl ... Update.exe

Wow, didn't expect an implementation so soonFJ hat geschrieben:Its integrated now in the current beta: https://www.fjsoft.at/files/MyPhoneExpl ... Update.exe
However, there seems to be a small bug with the new "start page -> files" option: After the program starts and connects to the phone, it shows the files window but it is empty. Only after I click on "files" in the left menu bar (see red box) twice to do a compact/expand cycle, it refreshes the files window and shows the files root (internal storage etc.). The phone is a Samsung S22 Ultra and the Android app version is 2.8.
Screenshots:

MyPhoneExplorer has to cache the root folders first.
After the second launch it should work as expected.

bookmarking a specific file system folder, to jump into it
Hi, I cannot find this feature (i mean, bookmarking a specific file system folder, to jump into it in file explorer view) anywhere, can someone point out to the specific place where it's mentioned?icke1954 hat geschrieben:But see => In the forum => FAQ => Tweaks in MyPhoneExplorer
With MPE Version 2.0 it is now possible to open a specific folder with one click using the favorites function

BTW, there are some non translated expressions there, see image.

The bookmark action is called "Show directory", then you can browse for the specific folder. Don't know how it's called in Spanish, but in your incomplete translation (in your screenshot) it's still in English.

Thanks mate, it was less than intuitive to find that.Novgorod hat geschrieben:The bookmark action is called "Show directory", then you can browse for the specific folder. Don't know how it's called in Spanish, but in your incomplete translation (in your screenshot) it's still in English.
BTW, that's also non translated,
"Show directory" == "mostrar carpeta" in spanish
and "Show dial window" == "mostrar ventana de marcación".
(that's for FJ)
