...when I remove the USB while MPE is connected.
Vista can't shut down the program, it's just ghosted/waiting...
W880i...
1.6.2 hangs under Vista...
This has been an issue I think I brought it up before.
Previously in XP, it's fine that we d/c the cable even when connected in MPE. But then in Vista, you have to manually d/c MPE, before plugging out the cable. If not it will just hang there, and you are to do a force restart as the Windows Restart will just hang there too tyring to close MPE which cannot be done.
Is that correct Frallan?

You face the same problem as me. I have address this issue before but FJ cannot recreate the problem that I face. He told me to Untick Stable Connection option but it make things very not convinence for me.
So I had to live with the fact that I have to always manually Connect/Disconnect the phone to MPE (F1 shortcut key) before plugging out the cable or even answering a phone call.

My issue is not completely the same.. but it's still a vista issue.
When my computer goes into suspend mode (it's named different in vista.. a short explenation: it saveut ts the current progress in the memory and keeps that powered) and I put him back in turned-on-mode.. MPE get's stuck...
If I try 'end task', MPE still remains 'alive' but when I go to suspend again, MPE closes itself...
Sucky vista, I want XP back! but no drivers for my laptop....
