Source Code Available or Linux Port

I tracked this software for a while and I think it's a great app...
It would be nice to have something similar under linux but any app I tried is not working properly.

Could you liberate the source code?

If not, could you send it to me so I can develop a version for Linux?

If this is not possible. Will you be able to port linux?

MyPhoneExplorer is not OpenSource.
If you want to develop a similar app for linux, then i'll help you. Just ask specific questions.

I'm interested in doing a small subset of the features of MyPhoneExplorer on Linux... firstly I just want to download text messages from the phone like is done in MPE. I have spent a lot of time searching but found it hard to get good information. What is your general method? IE Obex/serial port/etc. I am just looking for the right direction to head in If you have any links or materials that were useful in development, I would greatly appreciate any links you might be able to pass on.

basicly you should check out how you realize the communication over serial port. Its the same way you would connect a modem. For all other questions contact me via ICQ
