Multiple Calendars/Contact Groups on the Desktop

I would like to better utilize the multiple calendar facility we have with Android phones.

Thus, might we have a 'selection' pull-down for the list of calendars to display in the Desktop, please.

This would allow me to have, for example, 'Personal' and 'Work' items displayed individually OR combined.

Similarly, it would be useful to be able to do the same thing with the 'Contacts' display. NOTE that the context menu item in the 'Contacts' display *assigns* a group and does not *filter* by group, which I find confusing in the interface.
