Have just deleted all my contacts, Arrrgghh!

Right have just made a back up of husbands sim card contacts, so that I could transfer them to a new sim card, done that successfully!

Since my phone explorer is only compatible with SE and hubby has a Nokia, the only way I could do this was put his sim card in my phone.

So when I put my own sim card back in my phone, I wanted to make a back up of my contacts, but hubby's contacts were still showing in the program window and it would not synch my contacts. So of course I deleted these names from the screen and then sych'd with my phone and then it deleted all my contacts from my sim card.

Most of them I can get back, there is just the odd couple I will have to find out again by emailing the people.

But that isn't the point, Could this program be updated in some way to stop this from happening or even make it compatible with other makes?

Why you did delete the contacts -> you know on syncing the database will be updated also on the phone.

By the way - the SIM-Contact-Access is terrible on newer Models, its not recommened to use it.

No I didn't know, otherwise I wouldn't have done it.

Sorry - but i see no reason to change this. The button on top left is named "Sync" - if the you want only to refresh the data in MyPhoneExplorer then just use the second button - its named "Download all entries from phone"

I'm not expecting you to change it. It's one of those things where you just learn from your mistakes and move on.
