error: could not open COM5

P L E A S E H E L P Crying or Very sad

I really don't know what happened, everything was running so smoothly for almost a year now. But I just tried to run MPE, double-clicked the shortcut on my desktop as always, but it cannot connect.

And, since I've already bothered you, how is it possible to have the greek alphabet in a way that the sms in greek does not come up as e.g T??M Y???N for characters that are not latin?
I'm afraid you'd have to explain ste-by-step as I am not a comp-wiz Confused
