OS: Windows 10 Pro, version 1809
Outlook:
- Office 2016 Professional (not 365)
- PST file (not OST, no Exchange)
MPE version: 1.8.11
Appointments with end date (or time) lower than start date, are not openable in Outlook calendar (error message: The end date you entered occurs before start date). All these appointments are onetime entries, no repeat occurances.
On this link https://superuser.com/questions/847207/ ... start-date I found MFCMAPI tool. With this tool I can repair end date for appointments (I only copy values for lowdate and highdate from property PidLidAppointmentStartWhole to property PidLidAppointmentEndWhole. After some seconds, appointment is editable in Outlook. In Outlook I set another time and save. Appointment is OK now.
On my second notebook (exactly the same type of notebook), where is the same OS (Win10Pro 1809), the same MPE (1.8.11), but Outlook is from Office 2010 Professional, problem doesn’t affect.
I tried to exclude that problem is not in using MPE to transfer appointments between two laptops with different Outlook versions, I created new appointment in phone calendar and problem is the same. So problem is not in appointment source, but only in „last mile“ = creating new appointment in Outlook 2016 from MPE.
But as I wrote, MPE build from 7.3.2019 fixed it
Thank You.
