All files on phone randomly set as being newer than on PC

It seems like every few months, all the songs on my phone show up as being newer so when i try to sync, it will try to overwrite them all on my PC.

I am not sure but i think it's more likely to happen after i restart the phone. No other possible pattern can i find.

Issue happens regardless of phone or android version but i have always used the same music app, blackplayer.

Anyone has any idea what might trigger this from happening? I now have to overwrite thousands of songs for no real reason.

I'm sure its the Day Time Saving, complained about it a lot but they say MPE is aware of it

Oh that could explain it. It does seem like this bug happens every half a year or so.

Sadly i had to reinstall the program to fix the issue. It kept seeing my files on the phone as newer and even after a full sync, it would just want to do it again.

It may have been easier to ensure that your pc was the latest copy, delete ALL from the phone and then re-sync. At least, I use Outlook on my pc and that's the easiest way out of situations like that that I know of.

In my case it was easier and MUCH faster to reinstall the program. Thank zeus it was that simple to fix.

Deleting all data from my phone to copy it again in my case would mean to wait until 100 gb of data is done. Would take way too long for something that's not even my fault. I also delete songs i don't like on my phone as well so they'd return with a complete pc sync.

I have been complaining about the semi-annual ritual of copy all files, due to the time change, for years now and I've seen nothing done. In my case I sync all PC documents and pictures to both my Android phone and tablet. Often it syncs all to phone then, after the tablet sync, wants to sync again because the date on the tablet was different. I'm now watching a 27 GB photo sync for the fourth time. It's ridiculous that we suffer with this twice a year for years now. FJ is aware of it but nothing gets done.
