Most calendars gone under wine

I use mPE for quite a while and a few days ago all my (> 1000 in total) calendar entries from various calendars (worked fine so far) were gone, but new ones show up (all show on my LG G4 Android 6.0).
- I updated to 1.8.11 - no change.
- I switched the calendar sync list to "all" - some more calendars show up (like holiday calendar)
- I switched it back to a custom list - some were gone again

What can I do? Other operations (like calling a contact or listing SD files on my phone) work
