Hi!
I'm back...
First of all, I was able to import my calendar into MPE in the version 1.5.9 from the ics file generated by Lightning. So, that was good
Now, I upgraded to 1.6 and the following happens. I CAN sync directly with TB and Lightning. VERY GOOD JOB DEVELOPERS!!!!
I do have however a problem. When I go to File/Options/Sync, check the Calendar- Thunderbird Lightning and click Advanced, I get the next screen (Time sync etc...) and then the program crashes. Just gone in a flash. As long as I don't go to that screen, everything is fine. What I want to do is limit the sync to 5 days before and 90 days ahead but I never get a chance. All I can see now is that I have is set to unlimited (before it crashes- it takes like 5 sec for the crash to happen).
I thought it might be a memory problem but I still have about 20% left on my phone (for the calendar)
Also, right click in the calendar "delete passed events" does not work. Well, thi sis not completely true, it does but it does not show it on my calendar. What I want to say is that if I "delete" an event I see and X next too it. If I however say "delete passed events" I don't get X at the entries that are passed. Also, it seems that the recurrent events will not be deleted if they are also recurrent in the future.
Well, for the crash you should start MPE with -debug. It will write a logfile - post it here. Also the settings in your general.ini might help.
As for "delete past events" I cannot tell much about this. However, it these events are recurrant and will occur in the future, they aren't exactly past, aren't they?

Please download and install. I added some logmessages to find the problematic code. Start MyPhoneExplorer with parameter debug, try to list your Thunderbird-Folders. After the crash post the logfile here.
The update contains also a new Thunderbird-Addon Version. So after installing the patch please update your Thunderbird-Addons.
I found a bug in MyPhoneExplorer. Did you ever set the interface-timeout over 32 seconds ? If yes, then set it to max 32 Seconds by editing the the file settings.dat in your phone-data-folder. The field is named "InterfaceTimeout" in the section "Thunderbird".
I'm near sure that this bug raised MyPhoneExplorer to crash and i have fixed it for the next minor-update. I hope it will work.
Anyway thanks for your Thread - this was a very tricky bug (i was not able to find it with logical thinking).
