Is it worth thinking about allowing users to have multiple synch options?
I work in a secure environment and am limited as to what I can access from the three offices I have. However, I can access Google Calendar from all three and keep an up to date on -ine diary.
Because I cannot get any of the GCal/Outlook sunch programs to work if I had the option through MPE to synch both with Outlook and my W810i, all my new entries in GCal would update on my phone which, in turn, would update Outlook and then my PDA seamlessly.
I know I can switch manually, but a seamless option is so time saving.
No, this is not a good idea. The phone is not a good temp-storage to sync between PIM-Applications. Why you don't use a Outlook-Addin to access your appointments in Google ?
I've tried gCalDaemon, Calgoo, Remote Calendars, syncmycal and none of them work properly. The only one I haven't tried is OggSync. Looks like that's where I am having to try next.
