Can not synchronize with Outlook calendar

Hello everyone,
I use Myphoneexplorer with Outlook 2016, and I successfully synchronize my "contacts" and my "notes".
But whenever I try to synchronize "calendar", my computer freezes and hangs during synchronization.
I have to reboot the computer.
Do you have a solution or an explanation?
Sorry but I do not speak English correctly. (I'm French)

I have the same issue as Pounty except that my system does not freeze. I get an error dialog (Error... Loading entries from Outlook failed) for both Organizer and Notes but everything else seems to work fine.

Outlook 2016
Win 10
MPE 1.8.8 (had same issue with MPE 1.8.5)

How did you get MPE working with Outlook 2016? I can't see Outlook in the list when going to Settings > Sync. I can only see Internal Database, Windows Conacts, file. There's no value called Outlook.
