I am having the same issue with my Windows 7 64bit and my galaxy S5. This application used to work flawlessly, now it crashes as soon as it senses the phone. I have tried reinstalling both the phone and Windows apps. It crashes on both usb and wifi.
Here is the latest log on wifi:

MPE 1.8.7 continuously crashes under Windows 10 64bit
I have same serious problem ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 (64 bit) and MPE 1.8.7.
MPE crashes about 3-4 times before the Multi-Sync runs through completely. It's very frustrating, and limits my syncs to max. once a day.
Phone is the HTC Desire Eye with Android 5.0.2 and client version 1.0.40
Maybe it's relevant, that Outlook 2007 is also running, but that has never caused any problems.

Well, noone who is having problems bothered to say whether they checked out any of my suggestions above to sort out your problems. So, yes, people are reading this thread AND asking questions to find out why you are having problems but you haven't replied.
I will say again, I am using W10-64bit, now updated to the 'anniversary' edition with all patches. I use Office 2010 with all patches and I have NO problems.

Crashing on new windows 10 system
Hi,
I am a paid supporter of My Phone Explorer for some time now.
I just purchased a new Windows 10 system and My Phone Explorer crashes every time when i try and sync. It does not crash on my windows 8.1 system.
I have tried using all types of sync methods and have downloaded the latest version 1.8.7.
I have even tried compatibility mode for windows 8 and windows 7 with no success. The program will launch and connect, but when I go to sync, it just shows a box saying the program is not working and windows is trying to find a solution.
Then everything closes with no sync or error.
I should add, this has happened since the new windows 10 anniversary update and I did a new install to try and fix the problem.
Please advise.
Robert

Windows 10, Explorer windows crashing due to "Balloon&a
It seems the crashes/restarts of Explorer windows on Windows 10 are caused by "Balloon help" SMS notifications. It's reproducible.
It crashes after "Balloon help" pops out, such as for new incoming SMS-es, or "refresh", etc. E.g. if "Balloon help" is active and there are new SMS-es in Inbox, crash can be caused on demand by right click on Inbox, and "Refresh view". Reproducible, crashes every time.
Namely, radio selections for "Message notifications":
Settings > Behaviour > Message notification > Disable/Popup Window/Balloon help.
No crashes after I changed to "Popup Window" or "Disable".
(Though pity, I really liked "Balloon help" SMS notifications.)
I've upgraded in July from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (64 bit) via "Windows10Upgrade9194.exe". Using MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.7. Android 4.4.2, Prestigio PAP5503DUO.
Hope this helps.

Ok, then maybe it's unique to my laptop, but it is reproducible. Could be my drivers or something. It crashes only when the "balloon" wants to pop out (new SMS or such). Turn off balloons, no crashes. Worked fine on Windows 7 before the upgrade.

I have been looking and still no answer or update to our crashing problem. Is anyone aware of any other program we can use?
I have donated for support of this program. It appears the developer is no longer going to support this or care that we have supported them and are left with empty promises.

Turned off balloon popup - no change
I turned off the ballooon help as suggested - no change. MPE crashes randomly while in sync (2 out of 3 times), and sometimes even when I open settings. The crash is always without any message box. I have Windows 10 Ultimate, and all other applications work fine. Here's an excerpt of my logfile, right before it crashes during sync:

Just got a new phone - Samsung Galaxy S7. Installed MPE on the phone using Titanium Backup (from an S4 running a CM Marshmallow variant), linked via wifi and all works. Running W10 Home with all updates.
I also downloaded Odin and the latest USB driver set from the Samsung website and can connect fine, both with Odin and with MPE. And with MPE the sync with Outlook (2010) works fine with no crashes.
So, if you're crashing and using MPE are you using the latest USB drivers?

Latest USB drivers?
Hi Dave,
How can I tell whether I am using the latest USB drivers?
(Btw, my "baloon" crashes happen via WIFI connection as well.)
