MyPhoneExplorer crashes in Outlook 2007 and Vista

Sync with MyPhoneExplorer works fine but when I sync my mobile (W880i) but when I change the settings in MyPhoneExlporer to sync with Outlook 2007 instead of "Only Myphoneexplorer" and presses OK, MYP shuts down instanly.

Hi! I have the same problem. I have phone w800i, Windows 2003 Server Standard and Russian Office 2007. MPE crashes during synchronization with Outlook 2007. It’s interesting that in configuration I can see all my contacts in Outlook 2007 correctly. This situation lasts for a long time - approx. a half-year. I had to synchronize my phone with MPE database instead of Outlook. PLEASE, do something with this damn bug.

I have no OL2007 so it will be tricky to fix it. Does the normal sync between MyPhoneExplorer<->Phone work ?

Yes the sync between MyPhoneExplorer and the phone works fine in Vista. But when i change the settings (to sync with Outlook 2007) and presses Ok, MyPhoneExplorer crashes!

Does it also crash if you want to list the Outlook-Folders in the settings-window ?

I use Vista and Office 2007, it work nice to sync, only issye i have is sometimes lift the phone when it rings the program hangs, and only way to connect again is to reboot. /T

Yes MPE crashes as son as I press OK in the settings/sync window if I choose to sync with Outlook. I can view the folders but when I confirm the changes by pressing OK MPE shuts down instantly!

OK, download the debug-update and install it. Then start MyPhoneExplorer with the commandline-parameter 'debug'. After this reproduce the crash and send me the logfile (Its located in the program-directory)

I had the same problem but then I closed Outlook and it synched OK.

Hi,
MPE work liked a charm on my Win XP SP2 computer until i did a patch update for Office 2007. After that i had almost all the problems mentioned above. I uninstalled MPE, did a repair on my Office 2007 installation (just restart the office 2007 installation and u get the option for repair), installed MPE again and voilá IT WORKED!! I hope this wasn´t a one time just for me thing so i hope this may help some other ppl.
