I'm using MPE 1.5.5 (swedish settings) with my T610.

Under "Meddelanden"/"Messages" there are five options:
Inkorg, Mallar, Skickade, Sparade, Arkiv

I guess that would translade in english to:
Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Saved, Archive

If I create an SMS and put it under Mallar/Drafts it appears in the phone under a category named "Ej skickade"/"unsent messages" while the "Mallar"/"Drafts"-category is still empty.

Not really a problem for me but I thought I'd report it anyway.

Since there is already this thread regarding SMS drafts, I thought I would add an issue I have noticed.

When sending a message to multiple recipients on my K610i, MPE1.5.5, WinXP, if I save the message as a draft, it only saves the first recipient on the handset, not all selected names.

Also, when sent successfully to a list of recipients, the sent item only shows the first name, while an SMS sent from the phone shows all recipients.

Not a huge issue, but possibly something to be corrected if possible.

I am using the latest version of MPE 1.5.9.

I would like to know how ensure that a long sms will be in a single connected sms when I save to drafts in my K750i?

The problem I have now is when i write an sms that exceeds 1 sms, like maybe 4 sms, when I move it to drafts in my phone, the message splits into 4 parts and it wont appear as 1 sms.

why is this?

even my recipient receive the sms in parts not as one.

Please advise

FJ, sorry for the wrong explanation. The sms doesn't show as 4 sms in my phone, but as 1 incomplete sms.

For example, on MPE,

I wanted to upload this in my phone



but in my phone, it is only shown as:

(...)itions
For a love so
free...
Will never fly
away.

Any sms which is longer than 1 sms which I upload from MPE will only be shown as 1 sms in my drafts in my phone with the sms beginning with (...) The sms in my phone will appear incomplete as typed out as above.

The sms displays fine in the MPE inbox/drafts.

Its a display-error from the phone. Just restart it and the saved messages will be shown correctly.

Why is it so weird?

I have to upload them to my drafts and restart my phone only it will display properly?

I didn't have this problem in the past....

Is this caused by the phone? Should I master reset it?

or is it part of a bug due to MPE?

Its definitivly no bug in MyPhoneExplorer. I have also this problem with my W800i - Master-reset doesn't help. Its also funny that it happens only with messages with contains more then two parts.

I didn't have problem with it last time.

it's just that in the rescent this problem is arrising.

But even if I install the old MPE, this problem still happens.

I have always had this problem since almost 1 year.
Even after K750i 2 different software updates from SE, and having it flashed by DaVinci (with language change), this problem still exists.
Got to live with it...

i am having trouble reading my sms with my phone explorer... i am from greece and the program cant recognise probably the greek characters... should i download another version? the one i have is 1.5.9

Is your system-charset set to greek ?

what is system-charset?.... if this helps when i did the installation it had an option to choose language... but when i chose greek then all writen in greek afterwards were looking like encrypted.... so i stopped it and installed with the language set in english

I dont mean the language installed in MyPhoneExplorer - you can set the system-charset in System Panel->Regional Options . Its a windows-depended option.

i have managed to change the settings in the control panel and now my phone explorer is in greek but the messages still appear to have a problem.... they look like this.... κα?????? μο???? i think any latin characters appear but the greek ones don't

Hello, congratulations for the programme, its great.

I've read the FAQ of this forum and it says:

It's not possibly to get the "send date and time" from phone if the message wasn't sent directly from MyPhoneExplorer

there's no way of getting that out from it

This is something that I greatly miss and have been typing in sent dates manually for the past three years

Now I find in the FAQ on www.mobile-master.com that

The send date is not displayed for all sent SMS that are read from the mobile phone

Please install Mobile Master 6.8 or newer.

How did they do it???
Is there any development or future hope for this in MPE?

Download MobileMaster and try it out, but i think this FAQ belongs to other phonebrands. If it really works with a SE-phone and MobilaMaster then let me know.

I tried it, you were right
It doesn't work there either.
Why is this so difficult?? Will this problem ever be solved in the future?
