Location of photos folder on my computer
Location of photos folder on my computer
I want to change the folder that contains my photos, on my computer. How do I do that?
I'm trying to install the new 1.8.6 version but get an error message that says "7zip_installer.exe is not a valid Win32 Application". Whatever shall I do?
THanks . . . Walt

@wrdennig: In version 1.8.6, I can see an option called "Folder for Photo-sync" in the Settings window, in the "Advanced 2" category.
Maybe you should try changing that value? There's a small button on the right side of the text field that contains the name. The button has three dots ("...") on it. Click it and you should be able to choose a folder.
Please let us know if you've succeeded. Cheers.

I see that prompt under "Advanced 2" and it does coincide with a folder I made on my PC for Contact Photos. Now when syncing, where does MPE look for Contact Photos on the phone for syncing? I did not manually create such a folder.
Question: Is there a filename format for each of those Contact Photos I placed in my PC's Photo-sync folder? For example, if my contact is "Joe Blow", should my photo be called "Joe Blow", "Joe", etc., and with what filename extension?
None of this is clear (to me, at least).
