Hello! I am an engineer in the mobile operator company. We have plenty of status/alarms SMS messages. Today I deleted 2500 SMS. Each time I try to make bundle SMS deletion I have a message on Android phone "Change SMS app?"
It request to make MyPhoneExplorer Client an SMS app.
Is it possible to change it. Make bundle sms delete without makin MyPhoneExplorer Client a default SMS app.
Thank you.
Bundle delete of SMS messages
Plain and simple: No.
This restriction comes from Android and not from the MPE.
In KitKat they implemented that phone are not allowed to have more than one SMS app anymore. That´s the reason for this message. So, select all the messages you want to delete, push the delete button, change the app on the phone and change it back after the deletion.

If only I could leave it as MPE. MPE insists on asking me if I want to change it back, 15 seconds after every delete action.
I've had the request to remove that request action in the pipeline for a while now. It should be up to me to make that decision (on the rare occasions) I want to change back to an on-phone app. I spend 90% of my time with the phone connected to MPE.

This has been discussed before.
With the current Android restrictions there won´t be a change in that.
That is not what the majority of smartphone users do and therefore FJ had to make a decision about how to handle that. Take the result or leave it.TheLandYacht hat geschrieben:I spend 90% of my time with the phone connected to MPE.
