I've happily used my android for the last two years because of the MyPhone product for Androids.
Seems to me Microsoft wants to soak the small biz owner for $4-8 a month per pc to provide syncing through their cloud and their MS 365 or Exchange product.
Any chances FJ will come out with a similar product for Win phones?
I have tried Akruto....great customer service; however, they could sync my calendar, but not email.
Yes, Akruto is a good (paid) product for Windows phone but doesn't sync call history or SMS. Email syncing is not an issue for me as I have configured both my phone and PC to collect emails. Without a doubt, MPE is far and away the most reliable and useful Android sync product. I've tried all the others and they all have reliability issues. Also I'm not happy with the cloud option as secure enough for confidentail info in my line of work. A Windows version of MPE would be fantastic. Keep up the good work; I'll happily donate for a Windows version.
FYI, I tried Akruto with no success. After setting up a dynamic dns account, the Akruto tech spent about 3 hours on the phone with me....they certainly do not lack for support!
Unfortunately, I believe I have a double battle I'm fighting as the local internet provider I use (Cox) essentially refuses to support anything Microsoft. Cox is by far the best bandwidth provider in the area, so I'm stuck with them.
It's been a week of frustration, so likely I will be trading the HTC 8 in for an Android product in the next 1-2 days.
I've not used the internet sync, only our office WiFi so can't give you any comfort. WiFi works no problem.
I'll stay with my Lumia 920 as we are a windows firm in every respect, and I have hopes that things will improve in the short term. Fingers crossed.
A bit of advice. If you are thinking of a Samsung Galaxy S3, be aware that 2 people I know have dropped theirs from about waist height and in both cases the screens smashed.
By contrast, I dropped my slippery Lumia from a balcony 2.5 metres high onto concrete (accidentally, not trying to prove a point) and there is not a mark on it; it is heavy but near indestructible.
To be honest: The chances are very low that i will adapt another Operation system in MyPhoneExplorer since its really alot of work and even more problematic: It will raise even more support work.
Ich bitte um Verständnis daß ich aufgrund des hohen Aufkommens im Forum und meines zeitlichen Rahmens nichtmehr jeden Thread im Forum persönlich lesen bzw. beantworten kann.
I have an idea about Windows/Lumia suport.
Why don't you make an kickstarter or indiegogo campain for raising funds?
Two big advantages.
1. Get the money for the Development.
2. Get a lot of free publicity for free.
