Hello Support
I have used you product for a long time now as it works perfectly with my Sony mobile devices. I sent a donation years ago, and am happy to send more but not with what I am discussing below continues.
Recently I downloaded your latest version of MyPhone Explorer 1.8.6 and it is infected with PUP's and other malware. I protect all of my systems with Kaspersky and MalwareBytes Free, and have sent them samples of what is packed in your file. It's not false positives and carries genuine bad code and malware.
I'm not sure if it's in your app directly, or if the download from this site is adding this garbage. Some of these garbage apps do give one a choice to "decline" but there are others being installed silently and with NO choice, with the install of MyPhone Explorer. Overall they are all bad and listed internationally as harmful programs. This is not good and you should not allow this, I don't care what your reasons are. If you need more income to support your web site and product then ask for more donations or make it payware, but don't allow this rubbish to infect our computers, and cause all types of havoc.
Please advise of this and what you intend to do about it. You are ruining a good product with a bad experience.
Regards
Andrew Brown

Hi Dave
I only found one entry under the english section of this fourm to do with McAfee, and nothing was revealed there, and I am not fluent in German, what I know in translation would be dangerous and misinterpreted, and tedious to use an online interpreter.
So please point me in the right direction, this is my first time logged onto this forum, it was not necessay up until now.

Got it, I tried just that after I had sent my reply to you, the simpler the wording, and I shortened to just the word malware just as you suggested, the better it helped my find a number of posts. And I find not satisfactory in their content, quite disturbing in fact. I'm not sure if you are involved with MyPhone Explorer, or are just one of the forum admins, or a pleb like me just posting, but I find the responses totally unacceptable and, to put it bluntly, arrogant.
If FJ Software for whatever reason, want to keep the model of freeware, then so be it, but it gives them no right to inject malware, and malware it is, I don't care if they say it has opt-out options. It caught me, and I have been in IT 39 years with my own business for the last three, in the first click. I was speed reading but not fast enough, so by the time I read and wanted to "decline" I had already clicked yes IN TINY PRINT AT THE BOTTOM.
The nasty part I am really angry about with FJ, is even though I killed the app install via MS Task manager, the first nefarious piece of malware carried on invisibly and silently, until I noticed the command line boxes popping up, and until Kaspersky lit up like a christmas tree. And it HAS NO UNINSTALL option, and buries itself in hidden system folders, where the average user would have no clue to search it out and destroy it. IF it is purely an add-on WHERE WE HAVE CHOICE, then why does it behave like this, and I am sure FJ knows this.
I am sure as well in may international courts this behaviour would be shredded, and considered in favour of users as awards for damages, as IT IS NOT clear in multiple warnings and upfront banners, before one even starts the install that there are add-ons. How does this work with a "donate" banner, if the user is super careful and does not install any of these unwanted add-ons, FJ still do not get the "click" revenue from the base product only being installed. Go figure, so I have to presume there are other skullduggery issues here with FJ products.
