sync keeps adding calendar items, over and over

When I sync everything, i get birthdays and holidays from my outlook onto the phone. Perfect. When I sync again, some of these dates sync again. Sync again, and other dates sync this time.

If I delete them from the phone, they get synced again.

if I delete all duplicate dates (all occurrences, leaving no dates) from phone, then sync, the dates get added, as they should. If I sync again, they get duplicated again.

how can I get everything on the phone and outlook in sync, but without duplicates?

Does the calendar view of MyPhoneExplorer show these duplicates too ?

I've updated my phone to android 5.0.

now, when I try to open your program, it opens, then immediately closes.

i suspect it's more to do with a windows update than android 5.0, but at this point, I can't even use the program Sad

Please install the current beta and if it happens again then post the logfile directly after the crash.

Something is scewed up on my Windows7 x64 install. The program starts, then immediately closes.

If i try to install the beta update, it warns me MyPhoneExplorer is running, but it's not. There is nothing in task manager that looks like it might be MyPhoneExplorer for me to cancel, so I'm really not sure what's wrong.

I saw something on the forum about visual c++ redistributable, but it seems I have them all installed, both for 32 and 64 bit, so I'm stuck.

I uninstalled it and another program giving me problems, ran a registry cleaner, restarted my computer, checked for any residual items from the program, restarted again, then installed the program then the beta update, then ran the program.

this time it started, and walked me thru installing the app on my phone, asked me to name the phone, then started to sync and it crashed.

Now it won't run again Sad

I uninstalled everything, rebooted the computer, installed MyPhoneExplorer, then immediately installed the beta update, then ran it. It got as far as asking me to name my phone again, then when I hit ok, it crashed.

It seems the crash happens when parsing the Phonebook.dat file. Please send me the files Phonebook.dat and settings.dat from your Userdirectory ( %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\LGE Nexus 5 [358239054063245] ) via email with a link to this thread.

email sent. there is no phonebook.dat file there, but the settings.dat has been sent.
