Start Menu Jump List
Start Menu Jump List
Previously, MPEx displayed a Jump List on the Windows Start menu shortcut that allowed me to launch MPEx directly into Multi-Sync and a few other frequently used features. However, the Jump List disappeared after a re-install of MPEx and I can't find any setting for switching that functionality back on. Has this functionality been removed or is there a way for me to get it back?
There is no setting to turn this setting off and it was not removed. Is the jump list also missing in the taskbar item when MPE is running ?

Hmm, did you see this help page from MS: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... 96d77d9837 ?

I hadn't seen that one. However, I don't have the situation described in that solution. I did notice there is a related folder ...User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations which seems to correspond to most of the apps with function jumplists. However, there is no CUSTOMDESTINATION-MS file containing MPEx references in that folder.
Also, I installed MPEx on a 2nd Windows 8.1 machine and MPEx does not have jumplists in the start menu or taskbar there either.
I should probably have mentioned, both machines are running 8.1 with Classic Shell. Jumplist functionality is present in all other applications where it should be present. It was initially working with MPEx on the first machine, but disappeared after a reinstall.
