SMS's reported as failed (1.8.6)

Hi,
I've updated to 1.8.6 recently and since then whenever I send a text, it fails on the PC side. The text however appears on the phone as sent, so there's some response to the PC which is not getting through. The message doesn't appear in the sent items until I re-sync.

there is an error dialog which flashes up but it's too rapid to see.

After a fail, I have to unplug and re-plug my USB cable to communicate with the phone, and only then can I re-sync the messages.

I'll downgrade to 1.8.5 to see if it fixes the problem.

After down-dating to 1.8.5 it still fails in the same way...

I tested on Wifi and Bluetooth, they both work fine, so it just seems to be a problem with the USB connection.
as soon as I start to send a message the Android app shows that it's lost the USB connection.

Since it works fine on wifi, so I guess I'll just update again

You won't believe it...
I went back to using USB to generate a log file for you and it worked perfectly, but I think I've found the problem.

If I connect directly to the PC's USB then it works fine.
If I connect via my hub then I'm seeing these failures, so unless proven otherwise then I think it's down to the comms via the hub in someway, but why I'm not sure.

I'd sleep easy if I were you, but thanks for the reply in any case.
