MPE cannot delete files on my S3

I have recently begun to have problems syncing my photos AND documents.

I recently installed an automatic update from AT&T and it included new android security and I believe that this security is preventing MPE from deleting files.

Any help and advice is sincerely appreciated.

I found the issue with the KitKat upgrade that blocks user installed apps from deleting files on the microSD extSD card.

I needed to root my phone and then install an app SDFix.

I rooted it with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783157

And the app I used is called SDFix: KitKat Writable MicroSD on Google Play.

I also used an app to verify that I have successfully rooted the phone: Root Checker on Google Play.

Read all the info about each process to assure yourself you will not damage your phone

This KitKat crippling my phone is a bonehead idea!
