Hi,
I wish to know how can I retain all MPE user data when I have to do one of these two tasks:
1. I just purchased a new PC and have to reinstall MPE from scratch. Obviously, I will install MPE and have to create a new profile.
2. I just got myself a new smartphone but all PIM data are the same
3. I installed a custom ROM on the same smartphone.
My goal is to be able to retain Phone calls and SMS messages MPE archived which could not be present anymore on the phone.
Thank you,
Spiro
MPE PC software reinstall or change of device
Hi,
"Create backup/Restore" feature allows me to create a 1 file but it does not allow me to select what to backup. Hence, I do not know what was backed up.
If I only need to backup and restore specific entries, like Phone calls history, Messages (SMS) and nothing else, because the rest of the data comes from Microsoft Outlook how to I handle this need?
Also, is this Create backup/Restore feature backs up MPE software settings, or just the data?
Thank you

You can select in the backupwizzard what you want to save or restore so where is the problem ? The backup does save only data, no settings of MyPhoneExplorer.

I apologize for my previous question. I did not realize that after MPE asking for where to save the file the program was going to present itself with a beautifult backup/restore interface, I definetly consider superb.
When looking around MPE and noticed that it was asking me for where to save the file I just stopped there because I deducted that it was just going to proceed with full backup without asking me what to select and as I did not need it I just quit the procedure.
Sorry again for my mistake.
