Hi everyone,
I have two Google accs (personal and business) on my phone. If there's any way I can move contact from one google acc to another? (Have quite a few of 'em to delete-create again option) Thanks! |

Yeah, had to do it through export|import. Can't see why it's not possible in MPE though... I mean why in the Contact-Edit I just can't change account? It would automatically remove it from one google account and add to another at next synch... |

Its not a good idea to move contacts from one account to another cause behind every contact account is a sync-process with the webserver and if you move alot of contacts (= many deletions + new contacts) then the risk is high that Google will not delete those contacts and so you have duplicates. |

When editing a contact, there is a field called "Account" which shows the account, the contact is linked to. But it's greyed out, so I can not change the account.
What's the problem? |

I would like to have that function too how is about limiting the amount of contacts what can be moved per sync? |

You can copy&paste the contact - then you can edit the account field (before the contact is created on the phone) |

OK, another way:
- export all contacts as *.vcf
- delete the exported contacts
- sync
- disable the source contact account in the settings of MyPhoneExplorer Client (Contact accounts to sync)
- press the second button in the toolbar of the contacts (Download entire)
- import the contacts back
- sync
Since the original Google-Account is disabled for sync now MyPhoneExplorer will add them to the other Google Account on the second sync (if its set as contact account for new contacts) |
