My setup:
Windows 7 32 Bit running MPE 1.8.5
Samsung Galaxy S4 Jelly Bean Android running MPE 1.0.32
Sync using USB cable
MS Outlook 2007 SP3 MSO at a multinational corporation
First off... I love MPE. You do what Froogle, Microshaft, Damnsung, and many other third party apps cannot seem to get correct! Kudos!
Background: In December 2013 Employee in Puerto Rico (USA territory that observes daylight savings time) scheduled outlook 2007 calendar event that reoccurs once a week for 52 weeks. Employee in Phoenix, Arizona USA (does NOT observe Daylight savings time) has zero problems in outlook or using MPE to sync appointments with Android calendar until..... a DST event happens!
Problem: The reoccurring calendar event worked correctly until March 9, 2014 when Daylight saving time is observed. Outlook 2007 calendar entries display CORRECTLY for both employee in Puerto Rico and the employee in Arizona. Calendar events are NOT correct in the android phone calendar (shifted by 1 hour). Using MPE to attempt to resync calendar does not correct the issue. Android phone is confirmed to be correctly configured timezone.
Hypothesis: Reoccurring events that span across a DSL time change event are not correctly synced with the android calendar after the DSL event happens, even though they are displayed correctly in outlook. Perhaps it is because Arizona does not observe daylight savings time?
The only way I could correct this was to have the employee in Puerto Rico cancel the entire meeting series and issue a new meeting notice that commenced after the DST change. Only then would the correct meeting time sync with the android phone. |

Is the appointment shown correctly in the calendar of MyPhoneExplorer on the PC ? If yes then please test if the issue does happen too when you use an alternative calendar app on the phone (f.e. aCalendar or BusinessCalendar). What does happen when you delete the entire appointment in the phone and then resync with "Force Outlook->Phone" ? |

I have the same issue with Daylight saving time in MPE 1.8.6 on Windows 7, 64 bit when synchronizing with Android Galaxy S2.
Some items are shown with the shift of one hour in the MPE calendar on PC and accordingly on the phone. |
