Hello, I'm looking for a way to display in the contact view the "main" (hauptnummer) phone number of a contact.
In Androïd, such a qualifier can be set on a phone number for a contact that has more than one nr.
Therefore, this number will not show in any of the columns of the contact view (mainly, the "mobile" column).
Would it be possible to add more choice in the contextual menu of the header ?

I also miss very much the "main" (hauptnummer) in the contact view. Often I get a number. Then I type it in the search box. MyPhoneExplorer cannot find or display this number though it is in my contacts but it is a main number (Hauptnummer).

Better management of daylight saving time in the call log

I've noticed that right after the DST turns to summer time, call log entries are duplicated with a one hour difference.
For instance, I'm in France and during part of the year (roughly, end of March to end of October), we are on UTC+1 while the rest of the year, we are on winter time, i.e. UTC+2.

What I notice is that the same phone call, whether outgoing or incoming, whether missed or not, has two entries in the call log, one with UTC+1 and one with UTC+2: same caller/number, same type (incoming/outgoing/missed), and same duration, but only the times of the two calls are one hour apart. And this happens only for the calls in the winter time.

Could we have a "remove duplicates" that handles that situation, just like we have in the Messages archive? Come to think of it, I believe I posted a similar request when I made a trip to Africa two years ago and times of some call log entries went crazy.

I have been using MPE for some years now, and still it is great.

But now Microsoft seems to be moving away from Notes in Outlook to One Note. Microsoft have a track record of first hiding and then dropping functions.

Will you be allowing Syncing with One Note at some stage?

Suggestion: Make SMS messages read on phone

When the phone is connected to the PC through USB and an SMS text message comes in and is displayed on the screen, MPE should make it read on the phone.

Currently, it's not, and the message pops up on the PC every time MPE is run to sync, forcing the user to 1) open the phone, 2) open the SMS application, and 3) open the message.

Suggestion: When creating new item in Tasks on phone, automatically put focus on Task field so Android opens the keyboard layout, ready to start typing:

That might be a bug on yours. Once you've "read" the message on MPE, it should be marked as read (both on the phone and on MPE).

By "read", I mean "opened the message", or "scrolled down to the message in the messages list". With the second, the message should automatically show as read after a second or two. One bug in this method is...if the unread message is the TOP message in the list, highlighting it doesn't automatically mark it as read, scroll down one, then back up to the top message & it works (weird bug).

You can also right-click in the Messages window & go down to "Mark all as read".

I wouldn't want it to change to "read" after showing in a pop-up, as there's no telling if I actually SAW the pop-up...I'd rather keep it as a function of a deliberate action taken by me in MPE.

It took me some time to realise that the Sync button at the top left of the screen only syncs the type of data that is currently displayed.

Could there be added a Multisync button too please?
Or a page that provides multi-sync?

I cannot write a post on this software without expressing my amazement that this one program provides all the features that Samsung Kies has so far completely failed to provide, and not only that, this one program allows communication with the phone with every possible modality - totally incredible! Thank you.

under "Settings", "Advanced 1", you can set a "Hotkey for Multi-Sync" - I have set it to Ctrl+S - that will start a Mult-Sync - very convenient

I really love this program. It does almost everything, there is only ONE simple thing that is missing and that is the possibility to backup both SMS AND MMS! Today you can only backup SMS. But I would really like to be able to also backup MMS.

When I sync SMS messages, I always/often get the message below:

I don't really see the point of this question. If you answer yes, you'll get duplicates in the archive. If you answer no, well, you won't lose anything.

Can we get an option in the settings window that lets us configure this behavior and set a default answer? Thanks.

Suggestion for the MPE Taks application in Android: When Searching, wait until the user has hit Go before actually searching.

Currently, the application starts searching while the user is still typing, which makes it stop halfway through because the CPU isn't fast enough to perform both tasks.

Hello,
I'm Vietnamese, and i just use your soft for an hour. I really like your soft, specially is USB cable connection.
However, i realize that, I can import my contacts with Vietnamese, but can't edit it. There's an error when I typing Vietnamese... All of character of Vietnamse (such as á, à, ấ, ở, ử, ộ,...) is auto convert to "?" symbols. You can see it in the following image!
Can you fix it in the next updates?

In MyPhoneExplorer for Android there are two very useful and convenient widget - Notes and Tasks.
It would be good to add the same widget for desktop windows 7, with background synchronization over MyPhoneExplorer or even Google Drive.
