It seems that MPE when it is retrieving the data from outlook doesn't recognise events that are an exception to a recurring event, instead they are presented in the way that is the same as the other events in the recurring schedule.
I know this is an added level of complexity, but just picking it up ...

got a memory exception from the forum board in trying to submit. So here are some of the last few entries:

crashed today at 11:23, when doing a multisync and it was up to getting the folders. But it has crashed at other times when doing a calendar sync.

Is there another way to post the whole file? I had the program open for some time so the debug is about 1.5MB. I'll post the stuff related to today. and ...

When I start a Sync i get the please wait window showing up in the taskbar with the MPE window having a 'working' green line that moves across it, but I don't see any difference when MPE is syncing but waiting for my confirmation of the actions to take in a sync.
Is there a possibility of this ...

I notices that task sync is available for the Sony Ericsson phones but not for Android. Is this because of the unavailability of a standard tasks app that MPE can sync with?
Is this a feature that is on the cards for the future?

Hi,

In outlook, each event has a significant field where you can put event description in. It doesn't seem like this is syncing across into the description event in Android calendar. Is this something that should work, or a separate feature that is earmarked for future concern?

ok haven't got the log yet cause it hasn't crashed the last few goes... but i'm syncing with a smaller range of items aswell (30 days prior, 90 days ahead) and there are about 10x less items being synced... maybe that has to do with it.
Also I finally managed to clear the calendar out of all the ...

as in the sync log xml that you can get access to through the settings page or is there another one?

Hmm, MPE is crashing when i do the calendar sync. Not every single time...I'm not sure what the different factor is...

In the calendar that is visible in MyPhoneExplorer they are all correct.

I added a new recurring event from 11:00 til 11:30 and it seemed to work and be on the right day and with the right time.
But all the ones that I synced with the old client have incorrect time/date.
How do I clear the calendar on the phone and then do a whole resync?

Ok, a new appointment in the morning was synced with the right time, but it seems like all the recurring appointments are 1 hour late, and if in the morning are on the following day instead of the right day.
I'll try a new recurring appointment.

giving it a try now. you said 'new created events'. how do I delete all the events on the phone so they are all fixed up?

Also I looked more closely - it seems that appointments in the morning (before 12) are on the following day, but appointments in the afternoon are on the right day but an hour ...

Syncing outlook calendar to android. Calendar items have time which is one hour late. I checked the time/date settings on the phone and it is from the network automatically, but i looked at what it had set it to and it was the right time with the right AEDST (GMT + 11) timezone... and same ...

ok giving it a go.
Any chance categories on calendar items and contacts can be preserved? Is that a field for items in the android contacts and calendar?
