How can such a thing be avoided in future .. PC Suite should not be running? Or what?

FJ, this is magic!!!

Earlier I had checked with every port possible (COM1, COM9, COM10). It never got connected. After you told me to try with COM9, I thought of immediately replying saying that I tried with COM9 but it dint work.

But I thought I will give it another try before I inform you ...
