Bug has been fixed in the MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.8 recent build (2017-01-06).

Addition:

If SMS does not contain comma punctuation mark "," - text displayed by MPE is correct:

Language for non-Unicode programs: Ukrainian
Test SMS: "Я няня, няня я!", MPE: "Я нн, нн !" (all "я" missed)
Test SMS: "Я няня, няня я", MPE: "Я нн нн " (all "я" missed)
Test SMS: "Я няня няня я!", MPE ...

This bug previously reported for MPE 1.8.7 .

Updated PC App version to MPE 1.8.8.

Bug with Cyrillic letter "я" in SMS still remains.

Have been faced such a situation recently after changing one android phone to another.
In my case that was too easy to understand:
The only reason this to be occured - "just in case" and "as an experiment" (for easy contacts/data exchange in-the-field) I've turned on automatic Google synchronisation ...

Try to export his phonebook data in .vcf format on your PC (contacts list > context menu > export/import > export entire phonebook > .vcf) then send him this datafile.

.vcf is general format to be understood and accepted by many different apps, including android cellular phones built-in contact ...

Can not give a name longer than 9 alphanumerical signs for user of Sony Ericsson J108 Cedar.

E.g. if i name user as "Sony Ericsson J108 Cedar Username" it will be cropped to 9 signs max and then displayed that way by the app.

So by now I've been forced to short this name to "Sony J108", not the ...

Is there any way to use that debug update with portable installation of the app?

Each phone number entry at the Call Log section of the app is now completed by an additional supernatural terminal zero.

e.g.
actual phone number:

displayed in Call Logs by MPE:
+380111111111 0

The same problem here with Cyrillic (Ukrainian, Russian) Messages corruption - letter "я" is lost.
Please help.

I have tested MPE 1.7.2 with SE750 on Windows 7 x64.
Everything works fine. Even not any drivers from the phone CD needed.

Just filtering problem was found, indicated here.
But MPE 1.7.2 patch offered by the author solves it perfectly.

I have ICQ. And I'll be ready for monday.
Only I can do this in the evening time, approx. since 6-7 p.m. in your timezone (7-8 p.m. in mine GMT+2). Is it suitable?
And only one (my home) PC will be accessible.

I reproduced it on 5 PCs (3 XP SP3 + 2 XP SP2), with two different phones, even I nulled my full of cyrillic phonebook and input only latins. Nothing helped.

Above mentioned Microsoft patch did not help too =(

It is not so easy to find too many PCs under Windows XP SP2 by now and over here. But I did. Two =)

FJ: Filter caption starts blinking and Contacts screen goes diagonally shaded after click in filterfield, then app crashes.

The same in Organizer.

p.s. OK, at least the good news - field has moved in-line with columns captions, as you expected, I guess =)

Yes, it jumps up directly after click into the filter field. Then it returns to normal level right after "Filter" caption appeared in the field.

1. As you can see - my database path "d:\123\4567890\dial" is not default.
Also as I guess - there are no way to change Cache path itself via settings. It looks like to be fixed substructure relative to database path:
