Are you aware of any possibility in Ubuntu (10.04)?

This must be a very basis inquiry, but I do not find any solution at hand.

I have been using MyPhoneExploere on a previous pc with XP where everything functioned well. In the meantime I used (and still do) Ubuntu, where I ´forgot´ trying to use it, since it seemed impossible. Now I have a new Dell ...

I recently upgraded to version 1.7.0 and did the same for Firefox (3.0.1) and Thunderbird (3.0a1). I now have problems with the synchronization.
It seems that the extension cannot be installed. I receive this message:
"MyPhoneExplorer" will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates ...

Is support being provided for synchronizing the telephonebook with that of Thunderbird 3.0a1?
