Setting: v2.3 portable, Win 11, Android 16 on a Galaxy S22u

Weird, I just installed it on a new Samsung without an issue. Can you try to uninstall and install new through play store?

Are you on a company phone where you may not have all permissions?

Problem besteht in v2.2 immer noch. Ordner können nur mit Drag-and-drop hochgeladen werden

Leider schaffe ich es nicht, für den Filesync relative Pfadangaben für das Verzeichnis auf dem PC zu verwenden. Also z.B.:

..\MyPhoneExplorer portable\Backup\MeinZeug oder schlicht
Backup\MeinZeug oder ggf.
..\..\..\MeineDaten\MeinZeug

Dabei ist MPE z.B. im folgenden Verzeichnis installiert:
P ...

I confirm this works for Galaxy S10 recently updated to Android 11.

Are you sure you re-installed the MPE add-on in Thunderbird?

You can overwrite the file when MPE is not running. It should display the contents of the new file when restarted.

Or you may manually create a new profile:

1) With MPE closed, create a new profile folder in the directory where your general.ini file resides, and name it e.g. "Temp ...

That's correct. The MPE software on your laptop requires an MPE client app, downloadable from the Google Play store.

If that's not installed, there will be no connectivity between phone and computer.

You have to look for something else.

If SMSArchive.dat is gone, you have to look for a backup of the file or full backup in a .mbp file.

From the help file for USB connection:

- Ensure that 'USB debugging' is enabled on phone (Settings-Applications-Development or Settings-Developer options)
- In Android 4.2.2 and newer you have to unlock the USB-Debugging option first (Settings-About the phone-Build number -> tap 7 times on it ...

I also compared your SMS data structure and it is different from today's, indeed.

Sorry, I can't help more from here. The only thing I can think off is to get a very old version of MPE and try it again.

Let's see if someone comes up with a better idea.

Why don't you go back to TB 60.8?

If I understand the TB website correctly, 68 is even not yet recommended for an update. Let's give FJ some time to analyze the situation.

Ich hatte jetzt schon mehrfach den Fall, dass MPE beim ersten Mal Multi-Sync nach Programmstart einfach schließt.

Nach einem neuen Start von MPE funktioniert alles.

Die Debug.txt enthält nach dem Absturz folgendes.
