Suddenly I have red crosses in place of command boxes on the screen. When I start MyPhoneExplorer, a box opens with the following text:

\AppData\Roaming\MyPhoneExplorer\Debug.txt could not be created!

What can I do to fix this?

In my case, MPE lost its functionality to sync with MS Outlook quite some time ago and there was no support to help me. Since then I've been using MPE only to sync my computer and phone. I also have a problem with Samsung S10+, but I think it's a coincidence. In my case, the new phone required me to create a new "personality" (user) and it's that personality that doesn't sync with the PC. I can sync MPE on my PC with my phone, but Outlook is now out of the loop.

I used to use MPE via WiFi and would stop it on my phone once syncing was complete.

I'm looking for the same. After years of happily using MPE, now, with a new phone and no support, it became useless. Now, not being able to sync, I have to enter the same information twice, just like before discovering MPE.

I believe I'm having the same problem. When configuring my new phone, I was required to name a new user. Now under Users in MPE I have two names. If I choose the new name, MPE connects, but nothing syncs correctly.
On the other hand, if I use the old phone with the old username, I have no problem ...

Guy, that´s why it´s called donation and not purchase.
FJ is a single private person who does all the work on the MPE in his free time besides family and job and he does this all by himself. Considering that you have a pretty nice piece of software here that started before ...

I'm sure FJ has his own good reasons, but, yes, it's disappointing. As a person who'd donated more than once, I feel that I deserve a little bit of hand-holding when I get stuck as I'm now.

I wonder if Franz may entertain an option of offering guaranteed and timely support to users who have financially contributed to development of this software. I activated a new Samsung phone and have not been able to synchronize anything. The phone pairs up with the PC with no problem. Both the Outlook and MyPhoneExplorer have entries in the Calendar, Tasks and Notes. The Business Calendar Pro has entries that quite possibly migrated from the old phone ...

Here is another problem I noticed. In the past, when syncing, the program defaulted to choosing the latest entry between the phone and Outlook. It's no longer the case. Most of the time, it's the oldest entry is chosen as default. Something else now to watch for and keep the fingers crossed. I ...

An appointment on the phone didn't sync to Outlook and was deleted from the phone. With this going on, it's better not to sync anything.

And I'm so sorry to say, but new tasks don't sync reliably between Outlook and phone. Be mindful of it and check!!

This is an absolute mystery. Accidentally clicked the same blue arrow again, for the 5th or 6th time, and all tasks appeared in MPE Tasks!! Why? How? I don't know, but it worked!!

If you meant the blue downward arrow (Download entire), then yes.

With all my tasks now gone from MPE Tasks, I hope to hear from FJ what I may do to fix that.

In he meantime, I'm considering either gradually writing down forthcoming tasks on paper or using some other tasks phone app which, of course, wouldn't sync with Outlook, and so keeping a parallel list ...

Please save your Outlook Outlook calendar and the tasks.
- then deletes all tasks directly in MPE tasks in the mobile phone by hand
- press in MyPhoneExplorer on the PC on the 2nd button in the toolbar at the calendar (reload from the phone)
- then go to Menu-File-Settings-Sync-Calendar-Advanced ...

Only old tasks or newly created tasks
