I've tried one more thing. I uninstalled Thunderbird 17.0.4 and reinstalled 17.0.3 to see if it was a problem with the latest release of Thunderbird. That didn't help. I got the same ...

Can no one really help me? Can one of the developers maybe tell me why MPE would give this error message? I've tried everything and can't seem to get this to work. Help!!

Any ideas? This is preventing me from syncing to my phone. I've tried re-booting the computer and that doesn't help.

I have been using MPE for quite a while without problems. I upgraded to version 1.8.4 awhile ago and everything still worked fine.

I was trying to sync the Lightning calendar (which has worked fine in the past ...

I noticed that I was using the MPE add on version 2.0.11 in Thunderbird. I upgraded to version 2.0.15 and still have the problem.

I have been using MyPhoneExplorer for many months without and problems. Today I started getting an error: Loading entries from Thunderbird failed.

I am using MPE 1.8.4, Thunderbird 17.0.2, and the Lightning calendar plugin for Thunderbird 1.9.

Any ideas what might cause this and how I might fix ...

I've been using the beta on my phone and my old computer and I have had no problems getting connected, so it looks like the problem may have been fixed.

Still can't install on my new computer because Norton Internet Security says the file is infected. I don't run Norton on my old computer ...

I have two computers. I tried to install the PC software on my second computer from the link you supplied and it was blocked by my antivirus software that says it is infected with Suspicious.Cloud.7.EP. So, I can't install it there.

I installed both of these (I think). After the install, the phone was running 1.0.15 beta 11 and the PC was running 1.8.2 from 12/19/2011.

I was able to connect the first try. However, even under the old release I was running, I was sometimes able to connect. I'll try using it for a few days ...

I tried what you suggested. After getting the failure to connect in MPE, I started the browser and successfully went to a web page on my phone. I then tried again to connect, and got the same error. So... that didn't work for me.

Well... it worked for about a week and then today I couldn't connect to my phone again.

Restarting my router didn't make any difference. The problem occurs about 1/2 of the time that I try to connect to my phone, the other 1/2 of the time it works just fine.
