Same problem
Connects, breaks and restores after restarting client.
Phone: Sony ZR
Os: Android 4.2.2

Installed the new MPE version and tested backing up and restoring messages, but the issue remains.
Anyone else who has experienced this problem?

Xperia Arc doesn´t connect to MPE installed on W7 x64 system. “No USB-device connected”. USB-debugging is enabled and the phone is updated with the latest firmware. When I move the phone to my XP x86, it connects properly. Suggestion anyone?

The WiFi client is also able to launch automatically, where do I find this optional setting?

Seems like Ray is supported. I have tested both USB and WiFi and my Ray connects and runs just fine. Again thank you for a very good and useful prog.

Problem solved! I misunderstood the part about activating the serial port created in the bluetooth software. The port must be activated in the bluetooth software and not in Windows Device Manager as I assumed.
