Hello.
I'm all new to this, so please be patient.
I'm about to reformat my PC, therefor I would like to know what MPE-stuff to backup and how. I use all MPE-functions and are using Win XP SP3.
Especially I'm worried about my SMS archive.
I have tried the FAQ without any luck - I'm probably using wrong keywords.

I can read German so it's OK to point me to a German thread.

There is no need to copy Phonebook, calendar and SMS cause those are already saved on the phone. For the SMS-Archive you can use the backup-Feature in Menu-Extras-Create backup

Another solution to transfer also call-lists and settings:
- Go to Start-Run
- type in: %appdata%
- click on OK
- explorer will open, you should see a folder called "MyPhoneExplorer" here
- save this folder and replace it after reformating.
