Hi, I have a W890i. When syncronizing, MPE doesn´t read all of my inbox-sms. There is a gap of about 3 months that doesn´t show, i.e. my latest and earliest sms are displayed but not the once inbetween. All my sent messages are displayed correctly. PLEASE HELP!!

MyphoneExplorer does not "forget" to read SMS. Its a simple "list all messages"-Command between MyPhoneExplorer and the phone, so i think your phone does not send all SMS to MyPhoneExplorer (maybe cause they are MMS). Its also not good to have more than 1000 SMS on the phone, sometimes the phone has problems with a huge amount of SMS

I had a similar problem on my W715, very frustrating, and happened upon this solution. It seems like the phone either only downloads messages from the phone memory or from the memory card to MPE, not from both memories at the same time. And for some reason I had messages in both memories.
Unplug the phone from MPE and make a backup of the messages you currently have in MPE (I did an export), because they will disappear next time you connect the phone (the phone still has all the messages, they are untouched) and select this menu on the phone: Messaging>Messages>Settings>SaveTo and switch the selection to the other memory.
Then plug the phone back into MPE and do a refresh. Be patient if you have many messages and go and get some coffee while it downloads
This way I got the remaining messages, and I did another backup before switching back the memory to the initial setting.
Is it possible to lock the messages in MPE so they are kept even after they vanish from the phone?
Furthermore, if you fiddle around in the phonemenu: Messaging>Messages>ManageMessages you should be able to move or copy your messages from one memory to the other and accomplish something similar, but I have not tried that.
Good luck from
Ib
