SMS overriding and password problems

Hey there!

I have two problems I've run into.

1. Whenever I save sms on my phone (SE w580i) they often override the old sms list. I've got some problems with my phone and will return it for repair but Id like to save my sms first before emptying the whole phone. Anyone run into this before?

2. I've lost the password needed to open my phone file (yeah, I know but it was a while ago I saved any sms..) as soon as myphoneexplorer is started. As I understood it I can get an email here with instructions ? Would be very grateful for any help.

I use version 1.6.6

Cheers.

And for the Germans I'd like to say good luck vs Spain tomorrow.

/K

1) When you take a look at the tooltip at the first button in SMS then you see its called "Refresh" and not "Sync". The messages are just downloaded from phone - there is no sync. You have to save them before into the archive or in a backup idf you want to restore them later. The curretn version is able to detect if there were messages deleted on the phone, and if yes then you can move the messages to archive before they get deleted.

2) you got mail

Thanks for the help!

Next question is who is Mr Deauville :) and where do I send the IMEI/phone-model information to restore the lost password?

Hm.. theres an "archived (on the computer)" function on the SMS section.. I Guess its something here. Sry for all the silly questions, this software is still new to me. And quite a long day it has been.

Appreciate any help. Cheers :)

Mr Deauville is a Moderator of this forum. You send the data to reset your password back to me (you got a mail from me)

Maybe you are new to this software - as thousands of other users. But please open your eyes, i made the software as intuitive as possible. You can copy the messages to archive via context-menu or the toolbar-button
