Phone could not be identified

I have an LG VX8800 (Venus - Black). When I start MPE it recognizes the correct com port to use (4) and lists the LG Modem Driver. However, when I attempt to connect it keeps giving me the error message, "Phone could not be identified." Any help would be great!!! Thanks! Kyle

I'm so sorry!!! I feel like a complete idiot. Thanks for the taking the time to answer the post...holy crap! Well, if you ever make MPE to work with LG VX8800 you got a paying customer right here!!!
