Hello All,

My Sony Ericsson K610 phone was stolen and I borrowed a phone from my friend - Nokia 6500 slide.

How can I convert/export or explorer the data from my MyPhoneExplorer Backup file?

Currently my address book is empty and I was unable to open the Backup file due to I does not have a Sony phone :(

Please help,
Matt

Import the backupfile into contacts and export them then as vcf or csv-File

That is exactly what I tried

I was unable to import my by backupfile into MyPhoneExplorer. Due to the fact, that the MyPhoneExplorer requires a phone to be connected.

The question is, how to overcome this situation and how to import the backupfile into contacts without a connected phone?

You do NOT need a connected phone.
Go to Contacts-Phone in MyPhoneExplorer. Rightclick in the list and import the backupfile

Thanks a lot!

'Right click" is the answer on my question :)
Previously it did not work for me, because I've used: Extras --> Restore backup.

Thanks a lot.
