OT: Recover deleted SMS from phone memory (Sony Ericsson)

Slightly off topic...

Does anyone know of a tool that allows me to recover deleted sms from the phone memory in my Sony Ericsson K750 (operating system "Sony Ericsson Java Platform", not UIQ)?

I have found a lot of tools for this purpose for the SIM-card but since the default storage used for SMS is the phone memory, they are quite useless.

Furthermore, where are the SMS actually stored in the phone memory? I have backed up the whole phone memory/memory card to a computer and there quite a few folders there but nothing seems to contain anything similar to SMS:es, not ever when I look for PDU:s.

I searched a while ago for the same -> and i have found nothing.

The SMS are saved in /tpa/sms i think, but they are encoded, its not PDU and not plaintext.

After some contacts with data recovery companies I have learned that sms are stored in an unallocated area of the filesystem. I guess this is comparable to the swap partition on a linux system.

really Really REALLY REALLY stupid solution!
