Sync Issue

Great software.
I use my phones Contacts for storing notes (Contact Name, details in "notes" field of Outlook and no phone numbers stored.) It is easy to enter data in MS Outlook 2003 and later sync to phone. (SE 510a, MPE 1.7.5 ) The sync fails every time until I "give" the contact a phone #. If Outlook contact has a number- just 1 digit seems to work- then sync works. I can then delete the dummy phone # and subsequent edits of the "Notes" field syncs correctly. The Outlook "notes" field is Info in MPE.
Would be great if MPE synced without dummy phone number.
