Will you be extending the backup feature to backing up the apps on the phone at all?

I don't think that it is possible

If you can install the applications on the phone via MPE.... surley you could back them up as well?


I have loads of trouble backing up my phone using the SE software as it doesnt do a proper job....

I just took a look at the interfaces - its NOT possible.
If you install a app on PC then you're also not able to back it up - you need the setup, the installer. The second thing is that a software on phone did maybe cost money, so it should not be possible to download from phone and copy the app (in view of the phone producers and providers)

Are you able to get the MPE to backup the Private sections of the phone, I have a P990i

I am unable to access the private or locked areas, CAPSSWITCH doesnt seem to work for the P990i .. I was wondering if MPE can get to those areas.. so I can backup all the settings etc?

No, MyPhoneExplorer is only able to access normal files, but i think the backup of the PC-Suite does backup the whole content but note: You can restore this backup only on the same phone
