In current version of MPE when i start browsing file in phone, MPE always crashes. I have tested this with two phones: D750 and G900. I am not sure when this problem starts, but in previous version of MPE and WinXP+SP3 everything was OK, but with current version of MPE and Win7 x32 is not OK.
I also have checked solution with reinstalling som VB6 controls (from this forum) but this solution not works.

I think you connect to the wrong COM-Port

I think, no

I have connected booth phones via Bluetooth link (D750 via system, G900 via mRouter). I have connected D750 in the same way for long time, and always everything goes OK. But not now.
In properties of D750 i found two serial ports:
Dial-up networking (DUN) - COM4 (or Standard Modem over Bluetooth link)
Serial Port (SPP) 'Serial Port' - COM5 (or Standard Serial over Bluetooth link)
There is no difference which port i use - file browser always crash
Do you need log files for booth cases?

FJ, could you pls share the email reply with the rest of us?
I have experienced something similar - it works fine for a long time, but once in a while, when I click OK to accept the default name and location of a backup, I have seen one of the following symptoms:
1) MPE just hangs and doesn't refresh the main window after the file selection dialog box goes away. I can exit the app and start it again, and it works fine the next time.
2) MPE displays a dialog box saying that it does not have permissions to write the file. Again, if I restart the app and try the backup again (same file name and path) it works.
Thank you for an otherwise GREAT app!

I did email him the newest version of the file comctl32.ocx. In your case i don't think that its the same problem - he told about crashes when browsing the files.
Please send me a screenshot of 2)
