I have contact photos sometimes the same for different contacts. I find when I add the photo it then saves it as a new generic PB_XX eah time even though I alread y have it in phone. Is it necessary to have all these repeat images & extra file space used? Can I just use the original filename rather than all the individual names? Can I have them all stored in 1 place on y memory card rather than getting scattered between phone memory ? M2 memory?
Is there something I'm missing.

This behavior cannot be controlled by external software. If MPE would not send any photo-data then the photo gets deleted for the contact (but not in the filesystem of MPE). Cause of this MPE has to send the contactphoto everytime to the phone. If you use the PC-Suite then its the same behavior.
