Hi, i have an total computer hardware crach, the screen and computer cower on my laptop been damaged by an accident and is not possible to use any moore.
I happend wery quick and i have no time to do any back up.

I must scrapp the computer but the hard disk is possible to read and i schould put ower all the data from the old harddrive to the new computer i have puschase.
I use Windows XP sp3

All program needs to bee installed again and this course some problem.
Can i find the history from the old Mpe program on the old harddrive somewhere?

I mean for example the phone call list and sms list i can se in the Mpe for the calls wich been made the last mounths
Is it possible to install the Mpe from the intenet site on the new computer and get the "old" data from the old harddrive so the new Mpe program
on the new computer countinius direct where the old Mpe was stopped by accident?

Any suggest how to do when the computer is damaged quick like my computer have be?

The Datafiles are saved in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\AppData\MyPhoneExplorer

- Backup this folder (please note: the AppData-Folder is hidden by default)
- close MPE
- copy the folder to the same location on the new machine

I think i got the similar problem as like as Kallekula's.

I installed MPE ver 1.6.7 since May 2008, at my office-personal computer.
I used to open it by going to C:/Program Files/MPE since I could not access it by shortcut on desktop.
But it was no big deal for me.

Last week, IT Dept did something on my-pc.
Previously, i had asked him whether he's gonna make any action on C:/Program Files, he said no.
He changed SERVER ID. And he JUST moved the folder of C:/Document Settings/MyUser/My Document into NEW C:/Document Settings.
I dont think he missed any files while moving that.

BUt then, when I opened MPE through C:/Program Files, I got MPE blanked
Where do I can find the files?
can you describe, what kind of files I need to find?


Btw, I found MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_1.6.7 (application: 3,267) on My old Document.
What is that?
Why that file separated from C:/progam files/MPE


PLease advise me so I can get all datas of MPE back.

MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_1.6.7 is the setup-file. Its only needed during installation.

The basic question is: What happened with the old Application-Data-Folder.
Take a look at C:/Document Settings/MyUser/AppData -> there should be a folder called "MyPhoneExplorer" (note: AppData is a hidden folder). Then go to MyPhoneExplorer-Menu-Settings-Advanced 2 and take a look which Database-Path is currently used by MPE. Copy the MyPhoneExplorer-Folder into the new location.

I am talking from the Database-Folder - this has nothing to do with C:\Program Files\MPE
