MPE is an amazing software with a user-friendly interface.

I easily made archive of the inbox messages and backed them up. But, none of the "Sent messages" from the phone were synchronised.

In fact, when I sent a message via MPE, the message did get delivered, but I got this error message:

"The message was sent. It could not be stored however"

and i could not find that sent message in either MPE or the phone.

I repeat once again, the bigger problem is, that it DOES NOT import "Sent" messages from the phone (P990i).

Anyway, I started the application, sent a message "Hi" to my own number, and got the same error message. Following is the log file for the whole thing:

The message could not be stored cause the phone does not accept it. Please send the message including "+" and countrycode.

I have mailed you what you asked for.

And, I checked sending a message with the country code too, but I get the same ERROR message, do you want the log file for that too?

The phone answers with "Unknown error" when MyPhoneExplorer tries to read the sent messages. This is a "common" problem of all UIQ3-Phones. In the most cases a corrupt message causes this error. How many messages you have in the sent-folder ? Mostly it works if you delete your sent messages (try from time to time if it works again) or if you move the sent messages into a custom folder. but Note: If the messages are in a custom folder then its not possible to read them with external software.

I think both problems have the same reason.

My "Sent" folder has more than 5000 messages.

Many are important to me, so is there any way, to make backup of them?

I wont have any problem deleting all of them from my phone, once I create their backup.

This is the reason. this error happens also if there are more then i think 1000 messages in the folder. But its very diffrent, on some phones it works up to 2000 messages, some phones have also with 1000 messages problems. Try OxygenPhoneManger for backup. This software installs a client directly in the phone which is in general another technique to MyPhoneExplorer.

Thanks, I tried Oxygen Phone Manager, but even it gave me error while trying to import "Sent" messages, maybe 5000 is indeed a very huge number to be handled.
