Thunderbird connectivity

Just upgraded to Thunderbird 3. Cannot sync organiser. Error message says"The MyPhoneExplorer-Extension is either not installed or too old. Install newest plugin now?" When I try to install, it fails. Is there a plug-in I can download or is it because of Thunderbird 3?
