Is there a new plugin for 1.7.4 and Thunderbird 3?

Currently there is no plugin for TB3 avaiable.

One reason I am not using TB3 yet is because of MPE

Thanks for the speedy reply - do you have any further thoughts/info? Will you be developing a solution for TB3? Are you waiting for them to sort out the Lightning issue? Something else...?

I would think that this because of mpe-addin.xpi (TB add-ons for MPE sync) file is not acceptable by TB3 due to "cannot peform secure update"(?) problem. Could you just give us workaround just by updating mpe-addin.xpi file.

There is no workaraound. You have to wait until the addin gets updated. There is no timeline when this will be done

Well, there is a workaround. I syncronize MPE contacts to my google account, MPE calendar - to google calendar. Then I syncronize google contacts to thunderbird using gcontactsync extension, for calendar I use gdata provider (provider for google calendar, must be installed after lightning). The downside is that google haven't yet published API's for tasks in google calendar, so syncronizing tasks is not possible at all.

Means that you need to have internet connection to perform this sync (to reach google calendar)? Is it possible to perform this triangle sync with outlook instead of google calendar? Don't know whether we can perform TB3 to Outlook sync or not. Thanks.
